It's not really a prize to be won, it's a fee for services rendered.  I will probably end up using quite a lot of these decks.

Alright, that makes tons more sense. Thanks, all. I'll have a deck up here in a few minutes, after I get a few questions answered.

Here is what happened: I don't have the internet in my house, So I had to go to the Library to use the internet.  I saw your thread, and scanned over the rules.  Then, the next day, I was using my computer at home (it doesn't have internet access) to type up those 5 starter decks I posted.  I had forgotten the rule that you couldn't include priests.  Then I copied all the starter decks I typed up onto a floppy disk.  I took that to the library and posted them.  Is that rule still official?  I am sorry about that.  Can I still have the credit?

I currently have more pressing problems with my website, like it's broken.  But I have left this thread stickied so it can sit right here on top and no one can accuse me of letting it drop off the front page and be forgotten.  I apologize for the time this is taking but I'm hoping this is an indication to people that it will get done.

Okay, so the idea behind this project was to take decks designed by users, built with only common cards, and sell them on my website as "value decks".  Thank you all for taking the time to contribute to this project.

The good news is, I have finally had the time to sort and catalog all the common cards in The Storehouse, and check in all the decks that have been submitted for this project.

The not so good news is, I don't have enough cards to post any of the decks on my website.

Does this mean I am not going to send out packs because I cannot use any of the decks?  No it does not.  What it does mean is that I am going to try and stock up the missing cards to the point where I can post the decks for sale.  As they go up, the contributors will receive their free packs as promised.

Cards that I do not have stocked are bolded in red on each of your posts.  Some cards you might want to swap out because they will be difficult for me to collect and stock.  Most of them, though, I can collect over time and take them off the "red" list.

The missing cards break down into three basic categories.  One category is using cards that I requested not be used in the decks, such as (non-starter) Artifacts, Warriors and Women.  I gave extra credit for not using those cards, and now you see the reason why: I don't have (m)any of them available to build the decks with.  I am also going to have difficulty stocking certain cards from Second Edition starters, like Job's Wife or Search.  If it doesn't break your deck, you may want to consider finding substitutes for these.

Another category is powerful commons that people are less willing to trade in.  Popular examples include Widow, King Zimri, War Officer, Balaam's Disobedience, Haman's Plot, and various Sites used for conditional abilities, e.g. Damascus, Samaria, Egypt.  I may have a few extra Sites to fill some of these holes, but beyond that, what I need most is more contributions from big-collection veterans.

The third category is probably the largest, but it's also the easiest for me to make up the difference: 3rd and 10th Starter cards.  I am getting ready to post an incentive program to get more starter cards into The Storehouse, so hopefully I'll be able to cut down the number of missing cards by about half.

I apologize for the amount of time this took, it's just that every time I got close to a final count, I would get a new bundle of cards, or have some extras of my own to add, or a tournament would come and some of the cards would be given out/sold to players, so I had difficulty getting an accurate inventory.  And I apologize that this is now going to take even longer.  But I am going to work hard to get as many of these decks online as fast as possible, so I can fulfill my end of the bargain.  Again, thank you all for your efforts, your contributions, and your patience.

As a side note to Deathscythe, I'm keeping your decks on file for the moment, as I certainly am not against having Priests worked into these "value decks" over time.  But I probably don't need to tell you that The Storehouse does not have a lot of Priests right now.  Maybe after a while, there will be enough Priests cards in stock to support your decks.
