Would a philistine defense go well with a disciple offense?
Goliath promo
Philistine Garrison
Armor bearer
Saph
12 fingered giant
Ishbenebob
Overwhelmed
Land dispute
Bringing fear
Lahmi's spear
Chariots and horses

I actually like running Philistines with disciples.
I run
Goliath. Phili Garrison, Armor Bearer, Ishbibenob, Phili Priests, Saph, Delilah.
Phili Priest is a 5/5( great for Initiative and also it negates and deactivates on OT artifact aka Golden Cherubim and Chariots of Fire) Also Delilah is a 1/3. So when blocking you have two characters who are really low.
The Enhancements
Bringing Fear, Foreign Sword, Ishbibenob,s Sword, Lahmis Spear, Land Dispute( to take Nazz and to discard it) Phili chariot and Horses( two draw 2 more and play the next enhancement), pride of simon( to get back enhanc from Discard) Wickedness of Delilah.
I like a lot of the weapon class enhancements because i put them on the characters and make people rethink how they are going to come in: Goliath w/ lahmi's spear means you push back their character then discard lahmis spear on the one they want to bring in before they get a chance to even bring that person in.
Fort
Phili Outpost
you could throw in Foreign wives because everybody draws so much now.

Not sure but I dont think it works that way. Goliaths ability must resolve before ability on weapon can activate.

I think JayWall just meant that as soon as the new hero is added to battle, Goliath can discard it due to the WC-enh.
But RTSM is right that character abilities finish first before WC enhs.

no you guys are right I just love that combination. Especially if you play Van Phil right before you bring in Goliath. Kick out their enhancement and under deck it. Then you can take care of anyone in their territory or save it for another battle. This is of course if they decide not to come in, but i still like the combination.
