Battle Challenge Only Challenge

Hi! My mind is exploding with this concept that is currently possible with some of the new cards. Mostly in Type 2 though but also possible in Type 1.
Point 1: New Lamb's Righteousness, wow...combine with Consider the Lilies, use it 6 times in Type 2. 8)
Point 2: A grey defense with cards like Night Raid and Paul's Belt with classic Roman Jailer, Naaman, Proud Pharisee, and King Rezin w/ Damascus.
Point 3: Using a Martyr offense along with Eternal Inheritance and You Will Remain (among other Covenants).
Point 4: Sog+NJ or TSC.
Now with a deck like this, you just play negate heavy offense and you (theoretically) don't have to make a successful rescue attempt all game. This is not meant to be negative and I'm sure this was considered in making cards this set. After all it still takes a minimum 5-7 rounds to win this way and Confusion (though not nearly as bad thanks to Covenant of Prayer), along with other counters can still mess with you. If all goes to plan though, every rescue attempt should end in a Battle Challenge! Not sure what this might do to the meta-game but gimmicks seem really gimmicky!

Any thoughts on how a gimmicky deck like this could be fleshed out? Leave them below!

A "gimmicky" deck is certainly going to be more viable than ever, and I think that's just fine.

Obviously Redemption is just a game, but when you look at the parallels to real life, our goal as Christians isn't simply to overcome evil (though that's certainly a part of our lives). It's to bring glory to God and in so doing, to bring the Lost to Him.

So really, redeeming a Soul (or a Hero) shouldn't just be about defeating an Evil Character. It could be about giving up everything (Sow, Reap & Rejoice). It could be about setting the captives free (Lamb's Righteousness). It could be about spreading the news of our Eternal Inheritance.

I guess that was more of a commentary on the concept than ideas. I think you're off to a good start tho!  :)

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Thanks Gaurdian! That does put things a bit more into perspective. That's such a cool way of seeing things and a good reminder! I gotta remember that, sometimes (a lot of the time for others) it is easier to focus on the game itself then the message and good news behind it.

Well there are lots of ways to search LR out and you can also recur it with Moses and Elders and Gabriel. I think a white silver offense could be really strong. Another good way to get characters into opponents LoB is Alexandrian ship...
