There are so many now.  And many are repeatable - not a 1-time chump.  What would a defense look like, filled with these and backed up by negates?

ECs ( 12 )
Lions
Wayward Sheep
Wild Dogs
The Great Fish
Fiery Serpents
Fire Foxes
The Deceiver
Nebuchadnezzar
Babylonian Siege Army
Sapphira
Philetus
Red Dragon

EEs ( 8 )
Anthropophobia
Midianite Attack
Dream
Nebuchadnezzar's Pride
Seized by Babylon
Treachery of Jezebel
Scattered
Wages of Sin

Reserve
Foreign Wives
Outsiders (Crimson/Brown)
Gideon's Ephod

Might as well still use Firefoxes.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Considering how many of these are animals, I feel like adding Leviathan would be a good choice, even without him being a chump block. You have five animals already, and Leviathan lets you tutor them out whenever one blocks.

Also, Crimson chumps without Belshazaar's Banquet? I feel like there's a missed opportunity.

Knew I forgot about one of them.  I'll update.

It's not really a chumpy defense though.  Wild Dogs and Fire Foxes are the only true chump blocks in here, and Wild Dogs is in more because it's a 5-for-1 that sometimes can chump.  Over half of these characters have battle-winning abilities stapled onto their bodies.

Bel's Banquet could always go in Reserve to be fetched by Wages.

That's fair, but I still feel like Banquet should be in main deck, as it's often an autoblock.

I feel like 90% of defenses, especially if they're playing Wages can be improved by the additions of Red Dragon, King of Tyrus, Abaddon and Gates of Hell. Either Red Dragon or Gates in reserve

Sadly, this is probably true.

Note that Bab Siege Army won't work if you have any of these ECs in play though.  Also, I already have Red Dragon in there  ;)  The Crimson one, just for fun.  I could easily see dropping it for Leviathan or something else.

Although with Wages, Deceiver, and Crimson Red Dragon, I honestly could throw Gates into Reserve if I have room there.

Since you're not running the CBP battle winners (Dissension, Hypocrisy), I'd probably run the Leviathan/Behemoth package over Sapphira and Philetus.

Bloated. ;)

I have a new version of my music martyrs deck in the works that has the brown/orange replaced with crimson. It seems good on paper- my hopes are high.
If you were to go on a trip... where would you like to go?
