Defense title from the famous "Soup Nazi" Seinfeld episode.  I takes a lot of cards (20+) to do well, but I was wondering how well it would work, maybe even for type 2?

Evil Characters ( 8 ):
Pharisees x 2
Uzzah
The Amalakite Slave
King Shallum
King Elah
King Jehoiakin

Evil Enhancements (10):
Love of Money
Torment
Momentum Change
False Peace
Just a Hireling
Death of Unrighteous
Failed Objective
Belshazzar's Banquet
Confusion
Great Mourning

Sites (1):
Hormah

Fortresses (1):
Trap of the Devil

Artifacts/Curses (4):
Holy of Holies
Asherah Pole
Unknown Nation
Confusion of Mind

Of course the general idea is to not fight back at all and just let your ECs die, but also make it so opponent cannot get a lost soul.  Would it work?

Bill Voigt used this type of defense a couple years ago with pretty good success.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Looks fun. I played a similar defense before (almost exactly the same, only I had High Priest's Maid, Writ, and a few others).

It didn't do so well but that was the offense's fault.

I just added a 50 card casual "combo" deck with this defense.  I look forward to trying it out soon.

I used the same concept for a defense at the last Nats. I used Pale Green/Grey because of DOU and some other cards it very helps the deck move alot smoother. Your defense seems too spread out for it to work though I may be wrong. And yes the concept does work :p

Get hit by a single TAS or Hopper and you're pwnzor'd.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

I know what Hopper is, but not why it would be problematic.  What is TAS?  Thanks.

Thanks.

But why would those hurt so much?  The only thing I can see those hurting is maybe Just a Hireling, if it results in me having more than 3 lost souls at one time?

DOU removes all lost souls (including Hopper and Am Slave). Uzzah, Belshazzar's, Great Mourning, and Failed all say that no souls can be rescued.  And ideally a well-timed Shuffler later on would clear out the land of bondage later anyway.

What am I missing with how those two cards would mess up this strategy?

You might as well add Trembling Demon and Holy of Holies. There's one more free block (maybe two if you throw in seven sons) and HoH goes well with a lot of offenses.

Holy of Holies is there.  Good point about Trembling Demon though.  Thanks!

Yeah you need a fist full of arts for this deck such as Holy of Holies, G Cow, and Ashpole. This is one reason why I paired this deck up with a Z Temple offense.

Wouldn't G Calf and Ash Pole hurt you just as much if using Z-Temple?
