I had an idea centered around Gates of Hell.  I was wondering what you all would say about it.

The idea is to use Gates of Hell in conjunction with Chamber of Angels to discard your entire deck of angels and demons, then to shuffle all of the Lost Souls back into your deck before all of your angels are placed on top of your deck via CoA.  I don't really think this deck would have a strong chance of winning but what do you think about using it a deck to force a time out?
May you prosper greatly!

It actually has a great chance of winning. Put in Pharisees and Jepthah with Torment and Brass Serpent (it goes well with the Angels because Providing Angel can tutor both of them), as well as Evil Spawn and Tartaros. Do your thing, and use Jepthah. If they block you and you get initiative, play Sing and Praises to get SWS and swap him for your Evil Spawn and Discard another Soul. Next turn, you draw 4 or 3 souls and bury one, leaving you with 3 or 2 to rescue. Then, you use Just a Hireling when they attack. You should have Jahaziel'd another Sing and Praises, leaving you able to get your deck down to 2 or 1 soul, denying the win unless they have Hopper and/or Discarded soul retrieval and/or TAS.

It all sounds really complicated on paper, but in reality it's just a few cards you have to have in hand before you do it, then it's all good.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Of course, but the question wasn't "is this the best way to stall?"
