What does a "pure speed deck" look like?

OK, perusing the forums has me curious. Since I haven't played tournaments for a few years, I've missed some of the "newer" deck concepts. The one that has me most intrigued is the "pure speed" deck. What would one of these look like? I get that it's 50 cards, lots of drawing, and try to win in 3 turns. Could someone post one to look at? I'm not asking for deep, dark secrets, just one that's been used to try to get a feel for what the deck does.

(I'm not actually interested in using one. I think it sounds like a terrific tourney deck, but a horrible Redemption deck in the sense that the game isn't really designed to be a 3-turns-and-out game, and I'd rather play with/against decks that bring out lots of interesting cards and combos. But since I haven't seen one, I'll admit I could be wrong about this.)

This deck is a great example of what modern speed looks like.

I wouldn't use the word "modern" for that deck. It was made before even RoA was out I believe, and now with the 16 card hand limit, as well as all the anti-speed cards in RoA and TxP, you can't draw as fast as you used to be able to, so "pure speed" decks are a dying breed; pseudo-speed is the way of the future.

Wow, you guys are right.  I don't know anything about modern speed decks. ::)

The fact is the last two sets have done very little to change speed.

That's OK-my deck was about five seasons ago, before even Priests! (And I won't give away the ancient concept my oldest son plays.) My new tournament deck is a ripoff deck cribbed from many posts on these forums that (1) I'm not entirely sure how to play, (2) is probably already an outdated concept, but (3) is a concept that looks fun and interesting to me. I do need one or two TexP cards for it, but that can wait. (Although this is the end of the first week in September-where are our TexP cards, Rob?!  ;D)

Best way to check these things out is to join ROOT and play with it online.  You can use those TexP cards that you don't have yet, and see how it matches up against modern decks.

I've never really figured out the whole RTS/Hamachi thing. I guess if I were more motivated I would do this, but with two jobs, a kid in college, and two still at home, it just hasn't been worth the time to get started.

I played a pure speed deck to an 8-2 record in ROOT, so I don't see how they are dead, at all.

That's the deck I used to win multi-player last nationals. It's not a "pure speed"... but I find that it won't take me more than 5 turns to deck, and it has a little bit more battle winners, which is always nice.

I used an "old school speed" deck and got second at a very competitive local tourny last weekend. It still works and will continue to prosper if the player knows how to combat some of the new cards.

He won the tournament he went to, and got second at this other competitive tourney he wasn't even at.
