Best Large Defense?

I want to try to build a big herolite/turtle deck (70-100 cards), but I don't what defense to use. I'm not necessarily looking for a specific theme like Abom or Babs, just for something that can manage speed and last most of the game. Any suggestions?

The best thing to "manage speed" would be another speed deck.  Personally, I'd say to just pick one and have fun.  You won't be winning any tournaments with a defense-heavy deck, so have fun!

I haven't been able to put together a defense heavy deck this year, but I have found that a dual color defense is usaully best. I would highly reccomend Demons as one color. Maybe Magicians, Babs, Herods, or Phillys for the second color. Sites are also a good idea.

I've made plenty of speed decks. Looking to try something a little different. Anyway, here's what I am thinking of so far (just the defense).....

Here is my A-Bomb deck. It was really good, for a turtle deck. Obviously needs a few modifications with the new set out, but Canaanites won't help too much.

I found that Kings of Israel/Judah and Magicians with a splash of Presians work well for a strong defense.
