Brandon, what I've seen in our play group is that one of the older, more experienced players will catch on to a top tier strategy and do well with it. Everyone they play, or that sees them play it, will then want to copy what they're doing. This is the case with the current Judges craze you see happening. Yes, Judges are good, but they aren't necessarily the deck to play. The best plan is to be one step ahead of them (instead of joining them). You've already taken a step in that direction with your Canaanite defense. Here are some great anti-Judges/angels cards that fit right into your defense.
Stone of Thebez - it doesn't care about Gideon or Samson being protected from your cards and it's CBN on your females.
Gibeonite Trickery (black) - block low and end the battle.
Foreign Wives - If they draw 2 with Angel Under the Oak she is an automatic block for you, and she's a Canaanite female for Stone of Thebez.
Canaan Site - gives you the option to capture their star Hero from their territory.
Fortify Site - Use this to get back your Canaan or an important Canaanite
