Prophets fart in the general direction of that defense.

Honestly I think the brown/pale green gives you the most bang for your buck. The Problem with Phars is that they don't cripple offenses, and that is what you need with a large deck. They are good at stalling, but with a small offense you can only stall for so long.

Phars also are hurt by prophets. Frogs for balaams, characters that negate protect abilities ( stops JAH). A plethora of interrupts to get around srp and others. And Decent capture protection that stops writs and entrappings. Oh, and HT to ravage the few CBN cards gray has.

I've used Babylonians/Heretics quite successfully in teams
An unanswered question is infinitely better than an unquestioned answer.

Idk how I overlooked Heretics. They are also an excellent choice for big decks. They don't get you as much drawing, but do gain massive benefit out of 2 of every card.

To Hobbit, another huge consideration is time limits. One of the main reasons I am so into Phars for huge decks is that they also speed the deck up considerably. If your goal is to just not lose, then pretty much any double-dipped defense can work. But if your goal is to win, you're going to want as much speed as possible in your defense.

Ahithophel is kind of wut. I'd take him and the Captured Arks out.

Agreed on both accounts. Can you put in holy writs in artifacts? That card is great, considering more than 90% of decks will be attacking with humans.

Defense failed. I had too many evil characters and couldn't use my speed because RBD was up the entire game, and after a DoN, there was a Pigs soul, and couldn't get the FBTN before another RBD popped up.
