Cactus Game Design Message Boards

Okay so I am new to the deck building side....SO I just sat down this evening and was looking through the newer sets (for now) and came up with a rough idea...it is only at 49 so I need 1 more cards to add to it (plus decide on my LSs), but I am going to post what I have anyway.  I would love to have some feed back on this and opinions, criticisms, thoughts, additions, subtractions and anything else is welcome!   Like I said this is my first attempt so please just fire away and let me know what I need to look at more closely or adjust or whatever.   Thanks guys!!  Forgot to add, I have all the other sets and several promos that could be added.

I agree with all of Guardian's advise and I would add that you would likely benefit from a larger number of Heroes. From my experience 8-10 feels right in most normal decks and at 8 or less I like to run I am Creator. IaC would also be nice in this deck since it's a target for 24 Elders to shuffle. Then if you add The Deceiver to the deck (which I would highly recommend) and some humans in reserve, one of them can be Uzzah who can discard your IaC later in the game when it's useless.

Deck looks much more solid with those changes! Another recommendation I would make is the Thesaurus card Consider the Lilies. It effectively gives you a higher chance to draw your best white enhancements and even lets you reuse one of them.

Thanks, I have not had a chance to read through many of the cards and their abilities so that is why I was a little intimidated to branch out into the other sets, at this point.

I can't decide if I want to do a reserve or not...if I do I would add some of the bowls but also some of the humans that are needed to flesh out the deck.  Maybe switch out some seals and bowls into the reserve along with some other cards from previous sets...ugh, there is so much good stuff to choose from!!

You have several cards in the deck already that search reserve so not having one is just giving up free cards.

The logic is that if you have enough Heroes, you don't need either. If you have few Heroes, the primary purpose of the card is to decrease the chance that you skip early rescues due to not drawing any Heroes. GWT likely won't be usable turn 1 which is the turn we need it the most.
