Cards that say set aside X # of heros for X turns are played like territory class enhancement??? Thats how im playing them but others are asking if im correct.
-
If it’s a good enhancement like Pentecost (“Set aside all of your human heroes for one turn. On return, you may draw three cards.”) then yes, it acts like a TC enhancement. However, if it’s an evil card card like Infectious Disease it only works in battle.
-
More specifically, set asides that target your own characters can be played like territory class enhancements (even without the TC symbol). Set asides that target opponent's characters must have the symbol (i.e. Pretension) otherwise they can only be played in battle.
-
A set-aside Enhancement can be played outside of battle during the Preparation or Discard Phase if they are
played on a character that can use the Enhancement in the active player’s territory. Set-aside Enhancements
played outside of battle are discarded after the targets are set aside. Set-aside Enhancements played in battle are
treated as regular Enhancements.

And thats what i meant. Good cards that target your Heroes. all other card have to have theTC or played in battle
. thanks for the quick replies

There are also evil cards that target your evil characters. Not many, anymore, but they work the same way.

Is there more to this REG entry? Because with what you've quoted, I can play He Is Risen and set aside my opponent's defense for a zillion turns in my Prep phase.
-
He Is Risen is not a card i had any question about. It say interrupt the battle hence your hero is in battle so its not a card that can be played in your territory.

It appears you actually can play it, you just can't do much with it:
Set-aside effects on Enhancements played outside of battle cannot target cards controlled by an opponent unless the Enhancement is territory class

Agreed
