Oddball at Nats means not speed usually. I was using it to prove a point.

I don't think oddball=not speed these days. I would actually consider Tim's deck more oddball than any defense-heavy, hero-lite or heroless deck. How many other people used hand-control? I wasn't there, but I'm guessing not many.

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Then I had an odball deck, which I don't consider mine to be.

I personally played two Genesis bases, and I saw at least 1 or two others in addition to Tim. Tim was unique defensively and it seems to be the difference.

I personally played three Genesis offenses at Nats (without playing Tim's), and 2 of them had Emperors for defense.  I don't think it was that uncommon really.  Tim just played his well, and ran into the right opponent's while getting the right draws.

Really? I must have poor observational talents. Either way, the difference was clearly the player and the opponents, and I'm sure, as always with good players, the draws being in Tim's favor as well.

I put less stock into playing my deck well than in my ability to cheat and bribe without the officials noticing.

Correct.  The Hopper itself says it doesn't count as one of the required lost souls.

Most decks should have 3-5 Panic Demons, Fallen Angel, and Strong Demon. Unless you're like this one guy I used to know whose parents dont allow him to use demons....

IDK what decks you play, but demons are not a widely used strategy at all.  Especially Panic Demons (though that might change soon)

I think it's a little controversial that they just made a bunch of cards that punish you for multiple brigades, and now they're making a card that advocates it. :-\ Anyone else feeling this?

They're just making a load of different strategies availible to use. Some may easily decimate others, but thats part of the game. Either hope you dont run into the opposing strategy, or think outside the box to bypass it.

Angels are genderless
In reality, they probably are.  But in Redemption, they are all considered male with the exceptions of Arianna and Kira.

I just started making a panic demon deck though it isn't complete. I'm gonna finish my egyptian deck first then work on that.

The real question isn't whether or not to use TGT.   It's what will you be using with your TGT offense? :P

I suspect TGT/Persian will be the most popular deck type at Natz. 8)

No... I think popular will be standalone or sites, or babylonians. Being able to capture your opponent's humans with the two captures is nice.  :)

are u kidding me? Arianna is an amazing hero basically because she has the greatest LS acsess of any hero. as well as her useful ability she packs a punch.

yes. what other hero in silver brigade has access to all the hero limiting LS's. Kira, and her ability is virtually useless compared to Arianna. I personally think Arianna is a must have in most silver offenses.  ;)
