Now that Nats is finally over...

I'm curious to see what everyone was using. Please, flood the complete decks board with what you used this year (especially the decks that did well). T1 and T2 both (T2 seems to be in need of some more decklists in particular). There's really no excuse to keep anything secret at this point, and overall it's kind of sad to me that you can go to the Complete Decks forum and see threads from 2014 on page 1. Surely people want to improve and improve the community overall, yes? I would hope so. 8)

Angel party! Full decklist coming after I get home but basically it’s built around everlasting beings, warriors second seal, and entreating the angels to make a huge band with tsa and cap in it. My first game with it was my first game of this years T1-2P and it managed to carry me to 4th despite my inexperience with the deck and frequent misplays. Full credit to Jeremy Chambers for the deck, I just tweaked a couple slots and likely not all for the better. The defense was a lurking defense very similar to yours but only because it was the only defense I had practiced a little that fit in the slightly small amount of defense slots. It feels extremely strong and still has a lot of tweaking potential.

You said T2 needs new decks in particular? The defense I saw the most was brown, when was the last time that happened? I was the only one I saw that was really utilizing Throne, compare that to T1. There were two music leader decks, two judges decks, a Job deck, my red warrior throne deck, a teal offense, and I know other archetypes but I didn’t see them all. I posted mine and I’ll update it with a report shortly.

I'm saying for reference on the boards- there are very few T2 decks to look at beyond a handful. One of the largest barriers to entry for T2, at least, for me, is not knowing what kinds of ratios work and which don't. Having more lists to look at helps noobs like me see what others are doing, and generates interest in the type in general. I am in no way speaking of deck diversity, of which T2 I know little of.

People like you and Justin are pretty good about posting decks and deck ideas, and there's a few dedicated folks who post their decks as well. I just would like to see more people get involved in that.

Maybe you need to check out Justin's T2 "Do You Wanna Build a Type 2?" series on Land of Redemption...  ::)

I started T2 by copying Justin’s decks and just like in T1 you eventually get a feel for what your ratios are
