brown is probably the most powerful brigade right now.

Also another powerful combo....COM+Siege+Kor Reb = BOOM!!!
I prefer A Pole. I guess CoM is better in general for brown, since it has so many negates and CBN. and a CBN Negate! I love those! they actually win alot of battles...

Confusion Of Mind is there so when you play siege, you don't get nailed by all of the heroes abilities.
ahh. makes sense. I was just thinking, if they try to negate...
honestly though... I don't think it'd make too much of a difference. you interrupt all of their abilities with Korah's Rebellion.

brown is probably the most powerful brigade right now.
agreed. and it can be used in a number of different strats. but it isn't good as a large defense.

O RLY? This has been by far my most successful defense, and its monstrous. Typically, if I loose with this deck, it's only after we have both decked. However, it's pretty capable of shutting out opponents entirely. I figured enough people have seen it that I can just post this defense now. This is my most recient rendition of it:

Cards in deck: 44
Lost Souls: 8
   Lost Soul (*/4)
   Lost Soul (Color Guard)
   Lost Soul (deck discard)
   Lost Soul (Female Only)
   Lost Soul (N.T. only)
   Lost Soul (Site Discard)
   Lost Soul (site doubler)
   Lost Soul (Wanderer)

Grim Reaper Dominants: 4
   Burial
   Christian Martyr
   Destruction of Nehushtan
   Falling Away

Fortresses: 1
   High Places

Red Sites: 4
   Babylon
   Babylon
   Babylon
   Babylon

Gold Sites: 1
   Kir

Green Sites: 1
   Babylonian Banquet Hall

Blue Sites: 1
   Hormah

Purple Sites: 1
   Pergamum

White Covenant Cards: 2
   Plagued with Diseases (Brown)
   Wastelands (Orange)

Brown Evil Characters: 8
   Complainers
   Foul Spirit
   Gomer
   Idolaters
   King Jeroboam I
   King Nadab
   King Zedekiah
   Morgan

Orange Evil Characters: 1
   King of Tyrus

Multi-Color Evil Enhancements: 1
   Destructive Sin (Orange)

Brown Evil Enhancements: 11
   Desolate Gateways
   Dungeon of Malchiah
   Face of Death
   Gibeonite Trickery
   Image of Jealousy
   Korah's Rebellion
   Land Purchase
   Stiff-Necked
   Taking Naboth's Vineyard
   Threatened Lives
   Weakness

KoT + DS was a new addition I've been trying.

No... black. And now the new set gave black the only thing it didn't have over brown: site lock power.

It doesn't? It now has two site stealers - one being TC pwnage - and a guy to recur them. Brown has one site stealer, one site searcher, and a recursion guy, which is nice, but it isn't much better IMO.

I also consider that black has an art killer and TONS of fbtn. I find this to be the most effective against site lock.

Tons of FbtN? What Black are you playing with?

Brown has the following that are useful in sitelock:

Complainers
Foul Spirit
King Omri
King Nadab
Taking Naboths Vineyard
Threatened Lives + High Places
Land Purchase
Graven
Desolate Gateways
Bad Decision
Jealousy
Crucify Him
Demonic Blockade
Korahs Rebellion

Plus you can throw in other cards like Wastelands, Captured Ark, etc.

Demon in Armor, foolish advice, Bringing Fear, Devourer, Denying Blame, The twelve fingered giant.

I use purple sites, so yes, demon in armor is good.

Yeah, sorry enhancements that say "fbtn" or negate stuff. lol Yeah they don't actually have a foul spirit type character.

Come one... these aren't realistically used as "negate" cards. The other are legit though. And I prefer black's cbn negate card. I can't even say how much I love Bringing Fear, because YOU can still play enhancements.

Wasting Disease is as much of a negate as Demon in Armor is, since it prevents a LOT of common cards.

ITB, Draw, Play next's
Jacob
ET
and many more, i just dont feel like searching.  :D

Broken Cisterns is a good anti-speed negate though.

*EDIT* curiosity got me:

ET
Reach
Words
Angels Sword
Helmet of Brass
Throne of David
Barak
Spear and Shield
Jacob
Joidia
Jordan Interrupted
Tears for a Friend
Book of Hozai
Breastplate of Righteousness
Faith of David
Undefiled
Swift Beings
Answer to Prayer (on a non-genesis)
Renewing the Covenant (i think?)

I think thats all of them

black is weak.

and brown is still better in sites. Threatened Lives on High Places? that's just awesome. it may be 2 cards, but if you can sink a BBH to the bottom... it'd definitely would be worth it.

Right.... because taking a site in territory with daanites attack and high places isn't good, huh?  ;)

Lambo... I know WHAT it does... I'm just saying that realistically, that card would never go into my deck.

Taking Naboth's Vineyard does just that. and it can be recurred just like the King Amon/Manassah stuff. and TNV is CBN if played on an Israelite King. so in battle or out, it does just fine. it's also nice when you they have access by brigade to use on Foul Spirit

and obviously you haven't played T2 enough. Wasting Disease is a VERY good card to have, as it totally kills most Blue and Purple.

Site Decks are weak. :-X

No... I never play type II. I only play Type I.  ;D So I'm speaking in terms of a type I deck.

Black has two site killers, land dispute and danites attack.

Brown has one site killer and a site burier, and the killer, TNV, cannot be played with High Places. It doesn't say place.

that's why I think that black is much better. Not including the most epic battle-winning enhancements ever.

You never play Type 2?  Who was that guy in MP at CA state?

I think black is the more versatile brigade, and possibly even the better (though always weaker) brigade as a whole, but brown works far better for site lockout, simply because it can manipulate the sites in your LoB.  Brown also has good CBN options if they're playing BTN, while black has issues since it works the opposite way.

Whatever...  ::) ::) ::)

And that's a separate issue. Site Lock, and making good cool uses of your sites is another. I think Black is a much better site lock. However, brown has cool cards like desolate gateways, so in that way they're better with sites. But not better in site LOCK.
