I covet your ideas to help me build a fun type 1-2 Player deck revolving around magicians.

“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.” - Exodus 20:17

Not sure if deck builds 'belong' to anyone...so maybe you're okay? ;)

In any case, it all depends on how big you want the deck, if you want to have it be Magicians/Assyrians or Magicians/Demons or something else.  They're powerful on their own, but they work even better added to another compatible defense.

Staples would be Invoking Terror, Divination, Astrologers, and Damsel with Spirit of Divination.  Depending on how big and what you splash with, you'd also want Egyptian Magicians and King Manasseh, along with cards like 2k Horses and Forgotten History.

Really, it all depends on what kind of magicians you want to run :)

I play Assyrians with a Mag splash. One of the big things you will want is one of the "look at bottom card of deck" (astrologers, Egyptian Mags, etc.) to get Invoking Terror back more quickly. Other than that, it depends on what you want to focus on.

2kH is nice, but (as far as I'm aware) none of the mags are warriors, so it's only one use. DoU is a must. Forgotten History is great. Damsel is good for drawing (especially if your opponent is holding a multicolor card). Chaldeans can sometimes kill arts if they don't go with the deck theme.
ANB is good. Change my mind.

Manny is warrior class.
