How is Heroless Doing Since RoA?

Just questions...

Has anyone been playing a heroless deck since RoA came out? How is it working out for you? Have you met up with any hand/deck control decks?

Heroless still works great.  The green ITB enh is great for Paul.  I haven't used it a lot however.

Heroless is the idea of a deck with no heroes.  It almost always uses a super-changed Saul/Paul to make RAs.

Stonewall is the strategy of killing ECs in opponent's territory, then walking in for free LSs.

Both strats use large defenses that need to be very powerful.  However, there is a big difference in the offense.

Just make sure you have a large defense.  (BTW, I woundn't change your deck before Fri-Sat.  You have played a lot with your current deck, and it is never good to play something new in a big game. :P)

My heroless (as neglected as it is) has done very well vs Deck d/c, because most deck d/c decks use their defense and heroless...sorta...doesn't...rescue? :-p As said I have been experimenting with alot of stuff and am now getting back to heroless. ADHD person+ shiney card= deck.

I also have had great succsess with a 3-4 hero-lite deck I use.

You don't rescue!?!?!?!?!?! How do you win then?  B^{P>   [1]

I was mostly worried about Given Over to Egypt, the Deck Discard LS, etc. from ROA and the FoOFters like Simeon (once Tim Mxlplx showed the way). For my crimson heroless there were a few cards that were close to must haves (Saul/Paul, BotR, and HG, for example) if I actually wanted to win. One random hit from a discarder would have made me very sad.     :'(    [2]

The gold one? In any case, I like hero-lites.

Yeah my gold one. Lol I don't rescue till I deck. Badly phrased ftl. Honestly I HAVE had someone do that to my heroless, it didn't phase me. I had stolen their King elah with queen T (they had killed s/p) so I made him team, Played Zeal so they'd waste their itb card. healed then used T blast next r.a. to kill their protection fort. Then made my king elah purple and aocp'd um leavin' them defenseless. I said it to others but I find improvision is key to heroless.

Which explains in a nutshell why you are so much better than I am at the game.

that was awesome.  Heroless seems to be working fine it hasn't lost since I started using it(this year)

and it just lost. Ya know those draws where you have all your offense and have to d/c defense...that was my draw. No sog, No aotl, no don, still got 2 ls before the end.

I take it you don't play the "good" version of Heroless where you win with a "Built on the Rock" Paul?
Have you visited the Land of Redemption today?
