Help!!!!

Hey guys Justin Cannaday here! It has been years since I have played Redemption! Tried to start up about a year ago and didn't have the time or money to do so, but with that said, God has blessed me with a stay at home job and a wife who is stoked about playing Redemption again!! (Thank you Jesus!!) But the problem is this, lack of new card knowledge. Don't have a lot of priests, almost no FOOF and no ROA, Thesaurus ex Preteritus, and no Disiples cards. Oh and to top it all off. I had a FOOF tin stuffed full of UR's and that tin seems to be lost. Goodbye all my Michaels and AOC promo.

Anyways now to the deck building questions. I am playing a Silver and Brown deck, and I've built my wife a Red and Pale Green deck. Have any game changers come out that I should focus on?? Or should I just start buying up packs and go from there. I need to figure out which singles cards I need to complete my wife's deck, and once I do I will post something in the marketplace. For the time being though any advice??

Here's some ideas on things to consider buying:
FooF tin #7--it has Silver on Offense and Pale Green on defense so you can split it with your wife.
RoA tin #1--Red on Offense and Pale Green on defense for your wife's deck.
FooF tin #4--Blue on Offense but includes Jacob who is a nice addition to a Silver offense and Brown on defense for your deck.

Priests does not have a ton of cards for those brigades, and the ones you might want for your decks (Protection of Angels--Silver or Forgotten History--Pale Green) you can easily trade for so I wouldn't worry about buying Priest packs right now.

There are a few nice cards in TexP that you might want for your decks:
Grapes of Wrath -- Good dominant
Mayhem -- Evil dominant
A Soldier's Prayer -- Red enh.
Asahel -- Red Hero
Gomer -- Brown EC
Image of Jealousy -- Brown enh.
Angel of Warning -- Silver Hero

The Pale Green in TexP is all about Magicians and I'm guessing your wife's defense is more based on Assyrians being that you have the older cards right now.

Some Disciple cards you may want for your decks:
The Rabshakeh's Threats -- PG enh.
King Amon -- Brown EC
King Manasseh -- Brown/PG EC (so you might want two, one for you, one for her)  :)
Gabriel -- Silver Hero
Centurion at Calvary -- Red Hero

Obviously there's more cards than those for the brigades you are playing but that's just a list of the ones I would look for if I were trying to update decks that have already been built with those brigades.

My advice would be to buy those tins I mentioned above, and then buy Disciple and Treasures packs next. Even if you don't get the ones you need in the packs, most of those cards have decent trade value.

Hope that helps, glad you are able to get back in the game! Have you checked the Cactus page to see if there are any tournaments in your area?

Have you checked the REG?
Have you looked it up in ORCID?

Thanks for the advice!! That'll help out a lot. I am needing to get her deck up to par. I know I am missing some key lost souls and I know I need GOYS, what I'll do is post our decks online later and I'll go from there. I may do away with her Red altogether, But I only know how to build a solid Silver offense. Been riding that train way to long.

Actually you've come back at the right time for Red.  It is a lot of fun to play, and is actually competitive for the first time in years.

Would be competitive if everything else (besides silver) didn't get a huge boost as well...

The only person she plays against is me right now and I have silver. But that card can easily go.
