Guess its all just semantics, but I really don't see the difference in a deck "style" and a deck "strategy".  How is site lockout a deck style but garden tomb is deck strategy?  How is speed a style but not a strategy?

I see site-lock in the middle of deck style and deck strategy.  Though you could have either a defense lite or a heroless style with site-lock, your deck would still look completely different if you took the sites out (while with TGT, if you took out the fortress, you would still be able to wail a pond your opponent with the nukes/ignores you already have).  I’m probably not explaining that well.  Sorry

Is every 50 card deck a speed deck because it is 50 cards?  Not at all.  50 card decks just have better odds of getting you what you need, right?

I’ll admit that speed is not an actual deck style.  It is a strategy that is mostly related to an offense-heavy style.  There was a lot of talk about speed when I posted it so it was fresh on my mind.  My bad.

I guess I'd just like to hear the distinction between a deck style and a deck strategy.  Thanks

The best way I could put it is that a deck style is a polygon while a deck strategy is a rectangle (while the actual cards you chose are the squares (e.g. defense heavy = polygon, capture deck = rectangle, Babylonian = squares (I miss math :())).

God Bless
