It seems like Herod's Temple is sort of superfluous to Chariot of Fire in this deck seeing how you really only need to use Herod's Temple for one hero, and the amount of cards you will be discarding with Herod's Temple will be high (seeing as this is a fairly speeding deck) in proportion to your deck size.

Herod's Temple protects ECs and holds Lampstand. I can also discard characters in my hand to protect characters in play, then use Chariot of Fire to recur them.

Lampstand is valid, but I don't see the value of it's ability in relation to doing anything other than protecting Thaddeus so that he can mill.
