AutO and David but no Samuel?
When posting decklists, I'd recommend using the nicknames of the Lost Souls instead of their references - most of us don't have them memorized
(For the reference of anyone else: NT only, Retribution, Escape, Slaves, Lawless, Dull, Punisher)
I will say that I like including musicians - I don't think I've actually seen a Musician Tabernacle deck yet. I've thought about building some kind of hybrid but never really got much past including Moses.
I personally think that any deck with more than one High Priest (and many with only one) should run Urim and Thummim. It basically doesn't cost an artifact slot and gives a free look at their hand. That information can be invaluable.
I'm not sure I like the Silver Trumpets in this deck. You don't have any characters that act as battlewinners (though since you do have Dave, I could see tossing in Ahimalek), so any time you could use it to band or return you'd rather play an enhancement (which you should have no shortage of, since you have access to Tabernacle).
I like Bronze Laver, but I'm not sure if you have enough evil cards to be worth it. I obviously haven't played the deck, but I feel like that with an eight card defense, when you do get evil cards you want to keep them so you can actually block.
One combo I personally like is running with Priests is Seventh Seal, with Trumpet Blast and Trumpet and Sword in the Reserve. Seventh Seal can grab either of those enhancements, and even if you don't need them right then you can use them for Tabernacle. Especially fun to swap them right back to Reserve!
One other thing I'd recommend: Covenant of Prayer and You Will Remain should go in most decks, IMO.
I'm not sure Rubble and Dust is worth it, especially since you don't have any ways to place cards on opponent's characters. I'd replace it with a Falling Away or a Grapes, if you have one available.
I feel like any musicians deck should have Music Leaders. Even if the focus is Tabernacle and not pure music, between the musicians and the music enhancements I think the bonus speed and recursion would help.
I think if you have Aaron you should have Moses - even if you only use the straight gold version (to play around Melchizedek and possibly Music Leaders) he's a musician and Aaron bands to him for a 14/12 FBTN, which is pretty good. Also AutO can grab him, if you need to.
Even though he's not Tabernacle, Joshua the High Priest is incredible. He's House of Eleazar, so Eleazar can pull him (assuming you're using the PC Eleazar - if not, I highly recommend you do), and all his enhancements are CBN.
Dutiful Priests is another great hero. Not giving the opponent a chance to play is always a good strategy. Along with this, I'd strongly recommend Gifts and Offerings. It is the second best teal enhancement, IMO, after Zeal.
And again, if you're running both AutO and David, I see no reason to not run Samuel. I get that AutO is there for Eli, but having a second target (not to mention one that draws two and tutors another one of your heroes) is pretty good.
I notice that you have four main deck and two reserve enhancements that are pure white, while only having two white heroes. In your experience with the deck, do you ever feel like you have more white enhancements than you can play?
You have 10 heroes and 22 enhancements (13 main deck, 9 reserve). Those balances seem off to me. I'd personally go through and cut about half the enhancements. Figure out which ones aren't giving you any value, which ones you never end up playing or just use for Tabernacle fodder, and get rid of them.
I feel like you'd be remiss not to run Temple Dedication.
The defense seems small to me, but hey - if it works, it works. Three suggestions: The Wages of Sin, Death of Unrighteous, and Scattered. Wages grabs all sorts of fun things, DoU can turn a lone son of Eli into a block, in a way that they can't interrupt, and Scattered can not only be a CBN block, but it can slow down opponents who now have to pull their whole banding chain back from the bottom of their deck.
Do you actually have a way to grab Uzzah from Reserve? That seems like it'd be a good idea.
Disclaimer: Before FoM dropped, I ran
my own Tabernacle deck. Take everything I say with a grain of salt - some of these suggestions might be trying to turn this into that deck.
