Its quite lengthy but once you learn it it's not that bad. adapting to when you draw certain hero's can be the tricky part but midianite's slave can add a son of Jacob to battle, Rachel can band to Jacob, Noah can band in a flood survivor, and Abraham can band to an army or lot so you can mitigate most stuff. The draw off Midianite's slave also affects the opponent which is a downside you you really have to rely on the power of your cards in relation to theirs and your offense is a powerhouse so defense is the main concern there imo.
After the creation turn there are quite a few ways to continue.
Do the band stuff again with Bless the Nations and Faith of Samuel.
CBN stuff with Benjamin (or Foof Joseph if you can play him considering you already have Dreamer out)
Jacob play first with Reubens torn clothes or Deceit and Vengeance
Those are the better options and you'll likely stick to them unless you start running out of ways to do them (shouldn't happen)
There's a TON of Soul Gen in this deck too so drought shouldn't be much of an issue. Hopper, Mid slaves, Judah, A Slave, Dungeon of Malchiah, Covet, and Joseph Before Pharaoh all create souls.
It can be really hard to block at a certain point because this deck can eat the ECs really quick. Deceit and Vengeance does an amazing job as with all the cards you give your opponent they become really incentivized to play all their characters thus exposing them and for females there's always the A Armys or the rest of the battle winners.
As for Defense I chose brown mostly because I thought the Characters in brown are strong and Noah recursion on them is quite good. I am terrible at making good defenses and optimizing decks in general so I'm sure there are many flaws. But some blocks I looked at when deck building were
Profane daughters getting Charms or unsuccessful
Persian horsemen getting False peace and using it for whatever
Rehoboam + Strife
Manasseh + Gates of Jerusalem
Uzzah recursion via Noah
Job's Wife annoyance
King Zed + Dungeon
Fallen king + Gideon's Ephod
King Abijam + Gate's of Jerusalem (+ Ephod)
Haman + Plot (find gallows)
Jeering youths (play fist CBN enhs)
Siege is in for a specific combo. Basically you need Jeering youths, scatted/reap the whirlwind, siege, and a character to play siege. So you play siege, ECs get banded in Heroes are in battle but abilities pending, ECs activate Play first off Jeering youths, Play CBN Scattered/Reap and get rid of opp's heroes without them using any abilities. Its not too difficult to assemble considering things like Persian horsemen can get false peace for missing pieces.
Altogether this deck has been a Blast to play. I would hardly say its optimized fully and I fully intend to continue to mess around with it to see what all I can come up with for this. If you have any other questions about the deck let me know and ill try to answer questions as best as I can. Feel free to critique too. Let me know what you think.
