Built the offense aggressively spread out to include all my best battlewinners. Multicolor cards helped me do this. Starting hands weren't always great, but when GEs started to line up with heroes, RAs started to be successful.
Timon pulled souls to rescue two or three times. In my first game, I discarded him in Discard phase so that my opponent couldn't band to him with Philip the Evangelist.
Stone of Thebez won me 3 battles - two blocks, and one rescue (via Faith of Gideon sidebattle).
Complainers is ridiculously good in Booster.
Didn't put enough faith in Idols of Canaan. At the end of one game, I was being attacked with Justin Martyr and had Canaanites to block with. In my head, I logically knew there was almost nothing Justin could do, but I used my bigger characters and Manasseh instead.
I set up the King Manasseh in discard/King Amon in territory combo once or twice but never got to use it to recur Babel or Stone of Thebez.
In addition to Woman of Thebez and Stone of Thebez, I drafted Tower of Thebez, but didn't include it as I didn't see it providing much value.
Didn't realize Breaking Jerusalem's Wall was cost-benefit (with the battle-winning portion being part of the benefit) until the middle of my first game. Did win a battle with it though - 6/0 to add to King Jehoash's First Strike.
Got my 5th soul in game 2 via King Amaziah choosing King Ahab to block, then using Joseph Before Pharaoh.
My RoJ pack was insane. Obviously it had Michael the Archangel, but it also had Unknown Nation, Pentecost, Complainers, and Stiff-Necked. And an angel Michael could tutor/band to.
