Quote from: soul seeker on April 20, 2011, 03:36:50 PMI am curious how you plan to deal with Abom? I am aware of the popularity of disciples, but as you know...not everyone will play disciples. He does include the absolute best Abom counter in the game: Abe's Descendant. All he needs to do is pick it up and keep it in his hand. Since he'll be playing a deck whose primary offensive and defensive strategies depend on that card, I'm sure he'll make room for it.

Otherwise, I'd consider taking out Claudius. Immunity just isn't what it used to be,
A-Bomb site lock would shut this down fairly easily, but I'm not sure how common that'll be with Fishing Boat out.
Another potential problem is if they know this is coming, in which case they will block with a random high numbered character, and save four evil cards in their hand. They'll discard three, play Falling Away, and then block with KoT for the rest of the game.

If anything Abomb has a smaller offense, and my defense will crush it as well. All they can do it place Abomb in my territory and I can outlast them until I get my Job/Descendant out. And Prof nailed it on the head already, I will take their Abomb and leave it in my hand. Also I have never ever ever ever, seen Taking Egypt's Wealth in a competitive T1 deck, not including sealed. So I am not worried about that, also the amount of negates on my defense, and wealth being a 4/2 I am not worried.

I guess you'll just have to play Grapes offensively, and hope that they don't have five evil characters over 6 defense.
Although like I said earlier, it could use another good battle winner.
Wickedness of the Tenants in for Stiff-Necked?

What I'm really interested in: I'm curious to why you revealed this deck just before the big tournaments? That seems like you are inviting counters or copiers.
