You can't play a good set aside card (ie. Provisions) on one of your opponent's heroes. However, the opponent didn't call for a ruling, so they both played the way they thought it worked. No harm done, but people should know for the future that this won't work.
Interesting. Why is there a difference between good and evil? As long as you're in battle, you should be able to set aside your opponent's characters, IMO. It's not "harming" the hero.
