As most of you know I built a deck in 2018, a deck that was different than most and very fun to play with, but not only that it was actually pretty good at the time.
That year at nationals two copies of the deck made it in top cut, and one placed 4th, the next day I noticed that the deck which I made was gaining popularity as people were playing it in Teams and Multiplayer. Over the next few years with the release of PoC and LoC "Angel Party"
IMO was not playable in the Meta. When GoC was announced I got excited! Why you say? Because Angels!
But unfortunately there were no Angels in phase 1
However we did get some cool party cards😎 so I decided to give it a shot and debut it in the lackey Grand Prix but it was completely overshadowed by the Widow combo (Thanks Jayden! Lol) thankfully though, I only faced one widow deck and lost 4-5 in the first round because I whiffed SoG with like 4 cards left in my deck, when I played Jay in r5 I used a different deck because I thought he might play combo but he didn't and I lost.
How does the deck work?
My strategy is to use the first combo/attack with Matthew for a massive card advantage and then from there attack with Simon the Zealous to CTB and play my party cards, the party consists of 24-Elders, TSA, and Good Shepherd to negate evil cards, toss CBN enhancements and restrict evil dominants and of course you have some drawing in there as well, cards like GS and TFoM really help your attacks out when you're going in with Simon.
When you pull off the party it's the closest thing to an Unstoppable rescue in the game IMO.
