teams really isn't offical so to speak but there are several ways to make team decks successful. Unfortunatly, I am working on one right now with my bud, but we have nobody to test it with

TEAMS has been official since Rob added it this fall.  And I agree that posting winning decks would be a great idea.  Sir Nobody is the person I always think of when it comes to posting winning decks.  Are you planning on adding that category to your site Tim?

I agree that we need to see some examples of winning team decks, or at least have more people comment on the ones that are submitted.  I submitted my idea (in Type 1 because there is not a team category) and have received little to no feedback.

How well did your team decks do?  I'm still trying to figure out if it is better to have 2 very similiar decks or 1 offense, 1 defense decks.

Which is exactly that way we want TEAMS to be.  We don't want there to be an obvious answer to that.  As long as both are viable, there are more deck possibilities and less redundancy.  We don't want this to turn into T1-mp do we?

They did perty good. No where near placing but it was fun, with all the new trix that TEXP gave gold though it should be even more viable.

Just play two speed decks, at least one of which is Garden Tomb based. Add a few splash defenders and a couple of artifact RA stoppers.  Basically, TEAMs can be summed up as T1-MP squared. Haven't lost with that combination yet.

Too late.  ;)

Posted primarily to tweak Prof Underwood. Although I think the dual speed deck idea will win a lot more games than it will lose.

Dual speed Decks are 1 for 2 in Ohio.  and they only won the one game by getting lucky.  Soo, I would say that Defense reigns supreme in Ohio.

Was one of the two speed decks Garden Tomb based? If not, that is your problem right there.

It would not have made a difference because when you have one very heavy defense deck (actually both decks had significant defense based on the same brigades) Garden Tomb ignore doesn't kick in, at least it never would have in any of the games that I played in.
