Major Modification of Old Champion 25-5 Deck.

I used to have this deck, you see.  It pwned.  It went 21-0, 6-7 of those wins in tournament play(Equaling a district and a local win).  In it's run it beat BrianGabe, TimMeirz, JDS, RR, Lambo, and a good percentage of the people on the boards.

Then, I played a game against Chronic Apathy I think, and it was one heck of a nail- biter.  4-4.  I was going to win next turn.  He makes an RA I can't counter...my streak...goes bye-bye.  I win the rematch, but my flawless record is over.  I then play TimMeirz and a couple of other people, losing some to Tim and one to someone else.  That set my record down to 25-4.  After losing 3 out of 6 games, I took a break for awhile.

Well, I came back after RoA released.  I played another game with the champ, and got mauled by the new cards.  And I mean severely mauled.  I'm talking 0-6 stuff.  This was very disapointing to me.  But, I bounced back.

I made an incredible amount of test decks...they all didn't do to great.  I took another break from the game 3 months ago untill now.  Heroscape took all my Redemption time away in those three months.  ;)  Anyway, I decided to modify that champion deck offense a massive way.  I am currently 2-0 with it, as my signature tells you.  I'm considering revamping the defense into Egyptians like the old champ had, but time will tell.

Cards in deck: 56
Lost Souls: 7
   Lost Soul (1st round)
   Lost Soul (anti-ignore)
   Lost Soul (Female Only)

   Lost Soul (Speed Bump)
   Lost Souls (2-line)

Lamb Dominants: 3
   Angel of the Lord
   New Jerusalem
   Son of God

Grim Reaper Dominants: 3
   Burial
   Christian Martyr
   Destruction of Nehushtan

Fortresses: 2
   Wall of Protection
   Zerubbabel's Temple

Multi-Color Sites: 1
   Dragon Raid

Artifacts: 4
   Chariot of Fire
   Hidden Treasures
   Holy Grail
   Lampstand of the Sanctuary

Green Heroes: 5
   Agabus
   Joel
   Micah
   Miriam
   Saint Patrick

Purple Heroes: 4
   Ethiopian Treasurer
   King's Daughter
   Parmenas
   Widow

Multi-Color Hero Enhancements: 1
   Spiritual Warfare

Green Hero Enhancements: 4
   David's Music
   Golden Lamp Stand
   Plague of Frogs
   Repentance

Purple Hero Enhancements: 4
   Authority of Christ
   Glittering Sword
   Reach of Desperation
   The Word Spreads

Crimson Evil Characters: 9
   Arioch
   Fallen Angel
   Gomer
   Judas Iscariot
   King Merodach-baladan
   King Zimri
   Possessing Demon
   Red Dragon
   Sapphira

Crimson Evil Enhancements: 9
   Carried into Exile
   Coliseum Lions
   Deceit of Sapphira
   Demonic Deception
   Dream
   Great Image
   Imitating Evil
   Isaac Deceived
   Midianite Attack
___________________________________________________________________________
In my last game, the offense completely ravaged a huge defense.  I converted 6 guys, killed 3 more, and the demons left over were cake to my Demon killers.  Oh and...my opponent Gabrieled my AoC and most of my green enhancements.

Anyone have any tips?  Suggestions?  All comments are also welcome.

Notables From the Last Game:

-Used Golden Lampstand twice!
-Used Repentance succesfully twice!
-Didn't use AoC!
-Only used two purple enhancements, and only made two RA's with Purple heroes!
-All my succesful RA's were made with the green section of my offense!
-I made alot of BC's!
-I decked out!
-Regardless of all these things, I won 5-2!
-I didn't let a single Lost Soul get out of my LoB through means of Heroes!

Oh, and if anyone has any ideas on how to mod the defense into Egyptian without affecting the offense, lemme know!  I always like tips from guys who are more experienced than me.

I like this deck the only issue I see is when it hits a solid defense it has major issues pushing through.

I wish you would explain.  ;)

I don't see how I have trouble...I have 7 battle winners, over half of which can be recurred infinitely.  In the last game, the defense I played was really solid(90-100 card deck).

I guess I see your point, because it was down to my Micah, Miriam, and Widow, with no enhancements left.  He got my CoF/HT with a new RoA card.  I RA'd Micah(He had self out!) and got all my green OT enhancements left.  Next RA, I RA'd Miriam, he blocked, hopingly, and I played Plague of Frogs.

I even made some mistakes...it was my first game in three months.

Do you remember what deck I used when you beat me? I played you quite a bit at one point last (school) year, and I'm guessing it was in there sometime, but I had a few different decks I was trying out then.

The issue is init, you have no inturupts, no negates (offensively) if someone has 2kh/any varient, you are pretty much hosed.

It was your nats deck, or a variation of it.  Yeah, I lost my last game 5-4...I need to modify my offense again.  ;)

Why no Two Bears? That's one of the best enhancements in the game.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Green Hero Enhancements: 4
   David's Music
   Golden Lamp Stand
   Plague of Frogs
   Repentance

I cant find Golden Lamp Stand in the reg?  What is the SA on this card?

Also, I would add FSP, search (foof) and Great faith to get to the important enhancemtns and cards more quickly

If you went with Egyptians, I think TKP's egypt defense is good ( I have one of my own) but it is at 70 cards sooo start with that and see if it can be slimmed down and and still work
