Some notes...

This actually wasn't my first CoW booster...I did a booster draft last Wednesday with my brothers and Red Dragon Thorn. Keep an eye on Land of Redemption for a recap on that.

Normally I don't use Sites in Booster but I did this time for a couple reasons. First, I had Faith of Rahab and I wanted to make sure I would be able to trigger that. Second, because I was so well concentrated in White and Blue but did not have a Site Access Hero, I thought it would be good to have a few Sites that could give me access to other Sites. Lastly, we were playing two tables of 3 so in a three player format I could potentially use the Sites to restrict one player if needed. The Sites proved very useful in round two where I had a Soul in Mildewed House almost the whole game because the other two players had no Teal Heroes.

I wish I had grabbed one more Blue Hero, (and I definitely passed a few). Ideally I would have had one more Blue Hero and played with one less White Hero just based on the enhancement distribution I ended up with.

Burial Shroud "The 51st card" -- I was very torn on if I wanted to include it, but in the end I decided to try it as an experiment. Usually Shroud is a bad card for multi-player formats, but again since we were playing in tables of three, I felt it might allow me to stall when I was being soul droughted. If we had been doing tables of four, I likely don't use it and stick with 50. It did not end up mattering in the first round as I used Benaiah and the three TGT Ladies to walk in unopposed for five souls in five turns, (with the Hypocrisy/Mayhem combo being used after turn two). In the second round, between the Sites and Shroud, I was able to stall for a couple turns during rounds in which I had no souls available to rescue. The second round game was very close but I narrowly beat Jayden and Bill to take first. Bill's Household Idols kept TGT band from rescuing, but Moses and Elders got back He is Risen to overcome Prince of this World for the final rescue.  8)

If it wasn't obvious enough, Red Dragon Thorn was involved in the Hypocrisy/Mayhem game...he was also the victim of the Falling Away... :maul:

With two evil Doms and a Crimson defense, it would have been sweet if you had drafted The Wages of Sin.
If creation sings Your praises so will I
If You gave Your life to love them so will I

A player of Justin's caliber doesn't need two evil Doms and the Hypocrisy + Mayhem combo. That's just wrong... ::)

The best part was John and David's reactions as I played Hypocrisy and started putting down characters in my discard phase.

"What..."

"Is this about to happen..."

David draws. Mayhem drops.
