Title: Check out this Booster Draft defense!
Post by: Captain Kirk on July 25, 2009, 03:15:31 PM: This is from East Central Regionals. It was an 8 pack draft (including womens). I ended up getting 3rd place, winning my 2nd and 3rd games. They were all tables of 3, so there were no 2nd place points.

The defense was a beast. I blew any chance of winning my first game because I didn't play the patient offense I needed to and planned to....

Result: 3rd, 6 pts, 12 LS (three rounds)

Most likely Zeal if someone was not planning to grab any Priests and there was another great character for a color they were drafting in the pack as well.

Also interesting is that I believe both Shamgar and Beast from the Earth are rares.
