This is an Abom deck with TGT elements just thrown in for extra offense. Plus Holy Grail is in the deck.

I like the idea, but it won't block long enough to get Abomb going. Bump it up with more defense, or slim out some offense for more evil.

I agree with the last post. I was talking to Gabe about this earlier today, and he suggested more defense as well. What about some sitelock?

At first, everyone wanted me to use more defense in my Abom as well. But I rejected that advice and would advise you to do so as well. Abom should be an aggro deck, with Abom's main purpose being getting rid of any cards that would stop a normal speed deck. I've won on turn 3 with Abom many a time.

That being said, would a stand alone defense be a better way to go? Make it a true speed deck with the abom combo in it.

I would say no for one reason: TGT. I know that's what Abom and Land Dispute are for, but if you don't have a defense that's pulling out EC's each turn, and lets you keep only one in your territory to block, you can very easily lose on turn 3 against a TGT deck.
The way I view my Atomb is as a speed deck that's less reliant on luck, able to win in endgame, and less susceptible to an early Gabe; trade-off being that it's a bit slower (but not too much if played properly).

I made a 50 Card Abom site lock CASUAL deck that has not lost yet in CASUAL play. The theory is that I can get Abom faster that way (And a Greek and High Places), and then with my recurring (Name of the Lord) Hur, gold Luke/John heroes, Angel of Warning TxP, Mayhem, gold battle winners (and site removal enhancement), Wastelands, lots of artifact shuffling/destruction, you can actually LOCK THE OPPONENT OUT by Aboming their site access sites/artifacts/characters. It seemed a radical idea at first, and the opponent often gets one or two lost souls by the end, but it has done surprisingly well. Just mentioning this as another possibility.

You know I thought about that. 50 cards would make it even faster. But I wouldn't know what to cut, unless I took out the TGT package and another couple cards. I played some with my original build last night and it was wrecking face though.
