Quick question. I scanned the whole thread to see if it's been answered, but I couldn't find anything.

Basically if Lamech is active, you can use evil cards to discard cards even if they are protected by something (whether it's themselves such as Job promo or another card such as Angel under the Oak protecting Gideon).

It means discard abilities on evil cards are regardless of protection.
for example, if Lamech bands to lots wife and you play Wrath of Satan it would discard all heroes in play regardless of protection.

Why was the wording chosen to be “regardless of protect abilities” vs the standard “regardless of protection” which is shorter anyway?

That's a question for our wordsmiths, but I believe we actually want "regardless of protect abilities" to be the standard now so it is clearer (since "protection" is not a defined keyword).

Correct. It ties the phrase more clearly to the keyword, and it gives us consistency in how we refer to different types of abilities. We don't say "negate protection", but "negate protect abilities".

I feel a little bit nit-picky bringing it up, so won’t be offended if no change is made, but scriptures dictate that Joseph is 17 at the time and he looks like he is 10 at max in the picture.

I see "kids" driving all the time, and think to myself: "Is that kid even in middle school? How in the world are they able to drive?" In case your state does something different: You can drive at 16 and middle school starts about 11-12 yrs old.

A modifier is in the special ability.

I think it's not tossed, because its not in the active identity. But I'd need another elder to confirm.

my question is since now it has an enhancement side and a curse side.. is the curse side's special ability checked when it's played in battle as an enhancement?

and also, can the curse side of the special ability be activated in battle as an enhancement?

With the advancements in split card types I think we could almost treat the ones with 2 icon SAs as two distinct cards where you choose which one to play.
