What in blue blood burns blue is board advantage?

Keyword:  Advantage

Format of keyword: "Attribute" Advantage / "Location" Advantage

Definition:  For "Attribute" Advantage, the player who controls the highest number of cards with the chosen "attribute" has Advantage. Because this looks at cards you own and control, cards in set-aside areas are included. For "Location" Advantage, the player who owns and controls the highest number of cards in that location has Advantage.

Additional notes:
In the event of a tie, no player has the advantage.
Lost Souls and Redeemed Souls are excluded from all "advantage" definitions, except for the specific cases of "Lost Soul Advantage" and "Redeemed Soul Advantage".

Example:  "Hand advantage" belongs to the player with the most cards in hand.

Example:  "Character advantage" belongs to the player with the most characters in play and set-aside.

Example:  "Territory advantage" belongs to the player with the most cards in territory (excluding Lost Souls).

Example:  "Redeemed Soul advantage" belongs to the player with the most Redeemed Souls in their LoR.

Special case:  "Board advantage" counts all non-Lost Soul/Redeemed Soul cards in territory, the field of battle, set-aside, and Land of Redemption.

Just want to make sure I'm correctly understanding how this guy's CBN works.

If I have Jonah in play and put Nahum down, Nahum is CBN (since both he and Jonah are minor prophets, so X=2). If Jonah is later removed, he will still be CBN as long as he sits in territory, since he can't lose CBN once he has it.
If I then use his ability to discard an Assyrian and add him to battle, he reactivates, losing CBN. How does this interaction work? Is he now negatable, so if someone dropped a Woes on him it would kick him back out and bring the Assyrian back? Or was it CBN when it happened, making it CBN forever?

If it was CBN when it happened the Assyrian remains discarded and Nahum stays in battle.  That being said I’n Not sure that it was CBN when it happened, as when it triggered there were not 2 minor prophets.

My understanding is that CBN checks don't update - if it's CBN when it activates it's CBN until it reactivates (when it enters battle). Can we get an elder to confirm?

Mourn and Weep seems really good!  Multiplayer games will be slowed down a bunch though.  Also not a huge fan of the ability to get rid of cards from opponents reserve pre-first turn.

Travis, since you put the cards in video format, I can’t view the code for Zach and Mourn. Would you please email me the code for both cards so I can get them posted here? info@yourturngames.biz. Thanks

Zechariah has been working out! I think these are two of may favorite cards spoiled so far. Glad to see Priests (And especially Z-Temple) finally got a pseudo FBTN hero while M&W gives slow decks a pretty consistent way of skipping both player's battle phases for a round.

Would it be too much to ask for Zechariah to have "Temple or Tabernacle priest" instead of just temple?

Mourn and Weep off an initiative character is a free block next turn. Seems pretty good.

As someone who used to run a green/teal deck, I like Zech a lot. He definitely goes in a new Isaiah deck. Only problem I see is that he require prophets, so unless you make a green/teal fusion he doesn't go great in a Z's Temple deck.

I think the enhancement negation works as long as you have temple priests even if you don't have prophets and that's the part I care the most about anyway.

Edit: Now that I read it again I'm doubting myself on whether the enhancement negate part works even if you don't have a prophet. Can someone confirm which way it works and if it does require a prophet for the priest part, can they be changed to work independently?

I'm fairly certain the Priest part only works if the prophet part is already active. Wording might get tricky to have them be independent, but I agree that makes him more functional in a greater variety of decks

Does "Negate characters in battle if you control another minor prophet and enhancements in battle if you control another Priest (except * cards)." work?

Edit: The custom card creator indicates that even "Negate characters in battle (except * cards) if you control another minor prophet and enhancements in battle (except * cards) if you control another Temple priest." would fit but I'm not sure how accurate it's sizing is.

Do we really need to specify “in battle” for characters AND enhancements. Since he is not TC, I feel like he could negate all characters, not just those in battle without causing problems.

We’re working through the wording on Zach. My preference is that he negated 2 different things independent of each other based on the other character(s). That’s how I thought he worked but I see how the language we have makes that debatable.

Continuing with prophecy from this book I have a couple evil enhancements to share. Here’s the first one.

Correct. They streamlined the wording that took out wording like “look at opponent’s hand and...” If it gave the choice to the opponent then it would be specifically worded as such.

Correct. They streamlined the wording that took out wording like “look at opponent’s hand and...” If it gave the choice to the opponent then it would be specifically worded as such.

And if you think about it, we already use an implied "Look at opponent's deck..." for abilities like the EE discard on Hidden Treasures, etc.
