Hannah is a boss, you get inish, hand reveal, drawing, and LS protection.  maybe too good, maybe limit 3 for drawing? or maybe have Samuel be in play for part of her ability to work?

I don't think punishing abilities necessarily need a set limit. You can easily choose to limit her yourself by only running one evil brigade

I’m quite disappointed to see that Samuel isn’t somehow involved with Hannah’s ability. The story of how she conceived him is the most beautiful part about her story and the fact that she was willing to let him go to Eli when he was her little boy, which would be extremely difficult for any mother to do, based upon her promise to God. I truly hope this ability gets changed to have to do something with Samuel. A search of him from deck or reserve would be nice. If that’s too much then some other way to incorporate him in her ability.

I was actually just about to say that I was glad she didn't search for Sam, because he certainly doesn't need any more tutors. That said, you make a good point. Maybe she could have some kind of general Judge synergy, since her story involves both Samuel and Eli? I could see the soul protection having "if a Judge is in play".

But these are some nice Prophets. I might have to put a prophet deck together with this new set. Either an updated version of my Isaiah/Ezekiel Babylonian/Assyrian deck or something new. But there's also the new Daniel cards and I already have a Daniel deck... So many fun choices.

Until today we hadn't even shown you guys the green Heroes in this set...(I guess there was Moses) of which there are more than any other brigade! There are going to be so many fun builds!

I was thinking Mary (mother of Jesus) and Anna would be good choices given the theme of the set. Especially given the Christmas theme that's getting something.

Wow! Musicians, Judges, Prophets (green) and Exodus are getting great boosts again! Will all these Ladies be in Phase 1 already?

BTW (to get back on an earlier topic): I'd like to see all Egyptian/Exodus themes to be gold (purely or in addition). Not only that it's familiar but good Gold was/is described as the brigade featuring also Exodus subtheme. In addition Gold suits perfectly when thinking of the ancient Egypt empire and the 40 years of wandering through the desert (sand) as major parts of the Exodus!

Yes, all of the cards we're revealing now are part of phase 1. Early on the phases were not yet split, we just had one large group of cards to work with. Now that we know which ones are being saved and which are coming sooner, we're focusing on the ones you will be able to get this fall.

Royal priesthood is really cool, just worried on how it will effect card creation in the future.  Will have to keep in mind that all human heroes and be high priests and kings of judah, limiting the kinds of heroes we can make that could be OP if given those identifiers, and limit the cards we make that are triggered by them as well.  Also, this makes a female hero a king, was that intended?

Are you ready to reveal anything more about the set details?  Such as how many rares/UR's in each phase or combined?  And also anything more specific than 'November' for a set release timeline?  Or is that still the target time?  Seems like it would have to at the very least be a late November release at this point as IIRC it takes at least 5 weeks from the cards being sent to the printers for them to be available.

I love the new David! Pays homage to the King David card with the stats, ignore ability, and being mono purple, but is majorly upgraded with the other abilities as well as being WC and Cloud. (So cool how many identifiers David has, btw!) Super excited to use this one!

Also, I've been noticing that this set is being very carefully managed in terms of power creep...not many straight CBP/CBI/CBN abilities. Great job guys!!

As written, I would say yes. But that could be something clarified in the general rules if it's different. It does however amuse me greatly that a female hero could become a King.

It also looks like I was really on the right track on my comments about David, God's King when I said it was kinda like the updated King David.

Obviously a female cannot be a king or a high priest. So that was either an oversight on their part or perhaps they forgot to add “male human” to the SA, or maybe they had something else in mind.
