I know, right?! They are a fairly new direction on some key Evil Characters and not ready to preview yet. It's entirely possible they may need to wait to be part of phase 2. I'd love to share one or more as soon as we feel they are close to their final form.

I’m a little late to this thread... as expected, having a 3 week old has been taking up a lot of my time, but I’m super excited to see a second expansion coming in 2018! I thought Redemption did one expansion per year? Also, I know Gabe said the card numbers are fluid, but based on one of the cards it looks like there will be over 200 cards in this set? That seems quite big for Redemption, but exciting to me if that’s the case!

Probably a reference to the Battle of Pelusium, in which the Persians used cats and other animals the Egyptians held sacred as hostages, as well as painting the Egyptian god of cats on their shield. The Egyptian army routed because they feared striking out at the cats.

They look great.

Maybe a haman reprint is coming?? Not sure?? Although I think the promo haman is still pretty good though.

New cards look great! Persians definitely need expanded and upgraded. I also was wondering if the archers should be warrior-class...

Maybe Persians will get a "chariot and horses" card too??

Hmm that has the potential to be pretty nuts in T2, depending on how good the various star cards are. Because no matter what you roll you can always at least grab another numerous as the stars and keep going, and most of the time you will be able to get other cards too. On average rolls of 3-4 you get the following amount of additional cards:

after 1: +2.5 cards
after 2: +5 cards
after 3: +7.5
after 4: +11 cards

Yep. Territory class search out 11 cards seems pretty good
