I really don't see this being OP. It's certainly possible it produces a viable deck or two but having your whole strategy revolve around a single, completely negatable enhancement makes it pretty inconsistent. Not to mention there are a lot of ways to remove placed enhancements now.

I kinda got addicted to pushing a large stack of cards into battle a year or two ago so this card makes me very excited about doing it again.

There are already other Davids with those brigades. This David is part of the cycle that represent their given office. Green Moses for prophet, Aaron for priest, and David for king.

David is the only single-brigade purple card... in phase 1.

Question: With Royal Priesthood, if I place it on a female hero, will they count as a King of Judah?

I believe that not having "male" in the special ability is simply an oversight on our part. I've recommended that we add it and can only imagine the other elders will probably agree. I don't recall any female kings or high priests in scripture.

ANYWAY, back on topic. I like Cov with Dave. Nice simple tutoring, helping make Throne a bit more consistent when the new Dave doesn't search for it, and gives other decks (especially musicians) the ability to hide support cards in reserve. The specialized IaC on the art side is... interesting. We'll see how much play it sees.

This is being blown out of proportion. A Royal Priesthood is good/interesting/fun, but not a big deal.  With the best combos being:

Royal Priesthood+David's Throne+Thomas = Michael (AW) + Angel's Sword

Royal Priesthood+Isaiah+Gold Shield = negatable protection that is vulnerable to enhancement discards? Unless you take yet another set up step to get Royal Priesthood CBN, but the enhancement is still discardable.

Oh, 100%. I'm just being tongue-in-cheek - I might try to build that deck that makes a ludicrous Isaiah at some point, but even a 4-card combo (Isaiah, Call, Love, RP) is stretching it, not to mention other support.

Nah, it's just you. No one's ever suggested banning Sam/AUtO/Throne or using set rotation to get rid of them either.

I appreciate the sarcasm but that’s just my point. There are so many complaints about this offense yet more cards are being made that just help it out even the more.
