The OP is updated (with the spoilers in this thread).  It should also be in Biblical order, as that is the way they are numbering everything now.

Thanks for sharing your feedback and ideas! And thank you Chris for updating the list on the first post! John is sneaky sometimes and hides previews outside of this thread. If any are missing maybe someone can point them out?

I have two cards to share with you this morning. Each of these will help expanding existing themes are are not currently top tier.

So I have all of the spoiled cards I could find.  I know Isaac spoiled one, and as long as Gabe and John were the only people to spoil cards I should have them all.  Let me know if I don't!

Upon further thought, I believe we should continue with the ‘Unity’ precedent and create key words for modifiers and place them in the identifier line, at least for enhancements.

For example:

Cannot be prevented: Fated
Cannot be negated: Eternal
Cannot be interrupted: Endless
Regardless of Protection: Shatter?

These could then be modified with brackets.  For example, ‘Cannot be prevented if used by Balaam’ could simply be ‘Fated (Balaam)’ in the identifier line.

These keywords could obviously be changed, just wanted to get something out there.

How about this for smaller wording if it is needed??

Cannot be prevented = CBP

Cannot be interrupted = CBI

Cannot be negated = CBN

Regardless of Protection =  RoP

As for the playtesting of cards , along with Christian soldier I would be happy to help play test the cards for Type 2 as well since our playgroup is mostly Type 2 games only.

I would love to shorten modifiers to CBX and RoP. It might be one more thing for new players to look up, but let's be honest - understanding exactly how CBs and negates interact is one of the most common posts on the rulings board anyway. It's not like new players don't need to look it up as is.

If star cards get to activate when drawn normally, I really like it. If not... eh. Might still see play in a Daniel deck.

I like that Exodus is finally becoming its own theme - even with Shiphrah and Pharaoh's Daughter last year, the only real attacking hero is Moses so it's best as a splash. Can't wait to see what else they get this year.
ANB is good. Change my mind.

Nice, glad the theme finally gets a soul!  6 more to go...ability is even kind to the theme by activating on being put in territory and not drawing.

I like this one too!  So much that I wish it was 2-brigades to allow a second copy in T2 :)

That's what I was thinking too. Plus it has the potential advantage of Topdecking a Daniel card for easy access or CBN (assuming there are any Star Daniel cards that is). But my Daniel deck will love this card, and hopefully this set.

For the Egypt site why not add Gold brigade in it??  or replace white with gold brigade??

At least this way we can still keep the older brigade that the original Egypt site used to have.

Once this set sees print white will have more Exodus Heroes than any other brigade. The majority of future Exodus Heroes will be white too. I think it makes sense for them to access Egypt.

We use gold for Judges and for Luke Heroes. I'm not sure it makes a ton of sense for them to need access to Egypt.

I understand why the original was created with gold. It made sense then. But the game isn't the same as it was back then.

If you really want a gold Egypt, you will be able to use the new one and the old one in the same deck. Because they have different art and brigades I believe they don't even count as the same card.

I like the idea and also the proposed keywords. The only thing I wonder if it will not slow down everything even more is to put more text in the identifier area which is harder to read then the SA area.

To be fair, you could still use this idea without using the identifier line, just put one of these words (or whatever words we choose) at the end of the ability (along with any conditions) and bam, it's shorter and don't have the problems of being in the identifier line. And if we combine that with my idea:
Original
"Look at the top 6 cards of a deck: Topdeck the cards in any order. If played in battle, that deck's owner may draw 1."
Mine and Kor's Ideas (but with the modifier in the ability)
"Look at the top 6 cards of a deck: Topdeck the cards in any order. Battle: That deck's owner may draw 1. Fated."

In this particular case you may also be able to remove the word "That" and just say: "deck's owner", I don't think we really lose any clarity.

or the special ability could be worded like this:

Look at the top 6 cards of a deck: Topdeck the cards in any order. Battle: That deck's owner may draw 1. CBP.

Nice, that definitely works too.  And I get that text in the identifier area is harder to read/see.  I just thought that having it there saved a bit more space, and also added some clarity to how they intrinsically function - if the special ability on an enhancement is prevented, having 'fated' in the identifier line instead of in the ability gets around the old question "if the special ability is prevented, how does having 'cannot be prevented' activate to stop if from being prevented?"  Maybe the identifier line could be made slightly larger at some point if more important text keeps being put there.

Life is what you make of it.

This next preview is one of my favorite new Wages targets. It's also excellent for grabbing Fire Foxes and various Lions from the Reserve.

This one is also a Wages target and has good synergy with some of the new Curses we'll see this year.

For Carcasses, does a dual icon human card mean cards like King Saul (CoW) and King Jehu (FoM)?
