I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that that would be Isildur...

Yeah I think I may have been one of the most consistent players lol... bit out of character for me I guess.

I usually play pretty conservative in board games when I'm not familiar with how the other players play. If we play another game I will for sure be alot more slugfencier (new word right there)!

Looks like it finished just in time, too. The site has been down the last couple days.

As France, I can attest to the Prof's description. Life left me with not much time to look deep at the game, and I made a lot of moves that later looked stupid - not to mention completely skipping my turn accidentally.

Ahh much fun was had in that game. 
Congrats to the Brits for the victory. 
The "unnamed player" was goading him to a quick backstab victory but unfortunately, he would not be dissuaded.
Was going well in the beginning for me with the Czar and I (Italy) carving up Austria but then we did not realize the western triple was in full effect until it was too late...Russia was carved up by....everyone who bordered him, and then France turned on me and Turkey was gobbling up closer and closer....Austria was down to 1 or 2 but was valiant in defiance. Then I was knocked outta my country by the Frenchies. Only patching up relations with Turkey let me live when He saw the western triple was going to kill us all. So we tried to push back...and I was happy to see the brits stab the french making it possible for us to get a breather and I retook Rome. For a turn. Just in time to get in my gondola and sail my pope backstabbicus self in exile to constantinople to setup a very tiny mission field.
