Other than our beloved CCG, what CCG's or CMG's to you play? Here's a list of mine:
Star Trek (1st is Preferred)
VS System
Yu-Gi-Oh!
Heroclix
Heroscape
Star Wars Miniatures
Star Wars Pocket Model TCG
Want to play:
Duel Masters
Neopets
And the latter is as dead as a doornail. (Even though I don't know what is particularly dead about a doornail. :))

I think by now everyone who's been on the boards for more than a brief time knows that I play Dragon Dice. I also help with some behind-the-scenes stuff for SFR. As much as I love Redemption, I've always been a dice guy over a card guy (just ask those who have seen my "Why dice are better than cards" display at one of our local cons!). But I play more Redemption, just because there are more playing opportunities around. (As an aside, if you ever borrow dice from me at a Redemption tournament, I'm most likely to hand you some odd looking d8s that are terrain dice from Dragon Dice.)
I actually have given up all other collectible games besides those two. It's just too much to try to keep up with. But in the past I have played:
MTG
7th Sea (Loved that game! Sad to see it go. I had a great Corsairs Atomic Boarding deck.)
Yu-Gi-Oh (a little)
Mage Knight
Mechwarriors CMG
And of course, the various CDGs, especially Chaos Progenitus/Demon Dice, Dicemaster, and Marvel Super Dice.
-
The only other CCG I play is MTG, and even then only when I'm hanging out with buddies that have cards.
-
The only other one I've played with any regularity is one that puts the "fun" in "defunct": .hack//ENEMY.

It's actually sort of Redemptionlike in that you have different characters for attacking and defending. The battle resolution is pretty simple though. After the attackers are assigned to blockers (which can be done strategically), the battle is left to fate. Every card has a "destiny" value in the top corner; for each battle, the destiny of the top card of each player's deck is added to their side of the battle. Cards with higher destiny are generally worse cards though, so there's a tradeoff in deckbuilding.

I've played far too many to mention, but my all time favorite was "Lord of the Rings" by Decipher. Most recently, I've been playing "A Game of Thrones" by Fantasy Flight Games. As far as collectable, non card games...I was a big fan of Clout Fantasy by Hidden City Games. It was a Collectable Throwing Game. :)
p.s. My little brother really liked Dragon Dice.
-
I've tried Pokemon/Yugioh, didn't like them. The only other CCG I've really enjoyed is MTG.

.Hack. yes. Never played the card game but the video games were AWESOME. Unfortunately I only got through the first 2 of the original four and i understand that they've since done 4 more. I need to buy a PS2
Just checked and everyone of the original 4 games is on amazon for $90+ obviously i'm not the only one that thought the games were awesome

He should get back into it, then. The game is still alive. Even if there are no local players, we do online play through the SFR forum.

How does online play work for DD?
-
I think the .Hack games look like fun, but they are so expensive T___T
That's why I just watch the anime for it. Didn't realize there was a .Hack CCG though, seems like it would be both fun and a disaster :D
-
Are they really expensive? My friend got booster boxes for like $5 back in college in the mid 2000s, but I guess that time is past. I'm surprised they sell for that much, since I played it primarily because it was cheap while still being lots of fun.

There's a forum thread for online games. It works with codes to show the dice, but I don't know if the rolling is automated or on the honor system.
-
I forgot to mention Lord of the Rings: The Card Game! Has anyone here played it?
-
Dot Hack can still be found cheap. I've got stacks of unopened boosters from 3 different sets that I can't get rid of on eBay.
p.s. Yes, I played Lord of the Rings quite extensively.
-
When I said they were expensive I was talking about the PS2 games, not the card game
-
Yugioh. Won my Nationals invite last month. Woot. :)
-
Anachronism was the only other CCG that prompted me to spend any amount of money on it, unless you count the Mega Man NT Warrior cards I got on closeout.
