So what if it's not a board or card game?

See how much I miss? I didn't even know this part of the forum existed.

But what if my favorite game (sorry, Redemption, but I was on the Board of Directors for another company for a while) isn't a board or a card game? In fact, when you go to a con where it's run, sometimes it's in the collectible game area, and sometimes it's in board games. Yep, it's pretty much the only one of its kind currently in existence (although it had competition in the past).

Of course, I'm talking about the grand and glorious game of Dragon Dice. The game for you if you never have enough dice to roll, or enough times to roll them in a game. Still alive and kicking, with the new Dragoncrusaders and Dragonzealots making their appearance along with the first new terrains since...well, since the game was invented in 1995.

Off my soapbox...

PS-If it wasn't for Dragon Dice, I'd have never gotten into Redemption. It was one of my dicing buddies who introduced me to the game.

Well, boardgamegeek does card games and dice games as well as board games, so I think Dragon Dice similarly falls under that big tent.

I keep meaning to get into this game.

"This game sounds a lot like duel monsters."
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Dragon Dice sounds like Duel Monsters? I'm not thoroughly aware of that game, but I am inclined to doubt it.

The rulebook is rather large (and is in the process of being rewritten), but it is available online at the SFR, Inc. web site (www.sfr-inc.com) if you want to check it out.

[Who cares about] the rules, I have quotation marks.
