The original original one (i.e., the one I had as a kid) had roman numerals (I, V, and X) instead of army men. I have been searching garage sales for a set of those to use as T2 counters.
Actually I think the original one (i.e. the one my friend's parents had, and which I played as a kid) had wooden blocks instead of army men. And the whale wore a hat like Donald Duck
