Title: RISK memories.

Wanna share anyone? Well i have one:It's mom's turn and she has a few in North america and i have 3 in AL E and W and caentral she attacks all but central and wipes me out dad has 2 continets i have oceania(Can't spell the other) which gets wiped out.  and well mom gets her missions.

Me, my brother, and my cousin.  I have strategic alliances with both.  I end up winning.  (surprise!)

Not to hijack the thread but my best RISK memory was the day I realized I could have more fun playing games like Memoir '44 or even Starcraft.

But as an old-school RISK junkie, I have to say that I'm very happy about the new "black ops" rules that they folded into their new revision of the game.  Opens up way more strategic planning.  Still doesn't make me feel better about putting all my hopes on those infuriating dice.  :p

The fact that you mentioned "missions" leads me to believe you might be playing this new revision, or one like it that has mission variants included.

Yeah i'm playing the revision.(BTW don't have acsess to a game store to get those games)

I think the missions are the best thing to happen to RISK since the franchised Lord of the Rings edition.

Not sure I like the little arrows, though.

My best memory is when my family banned me from the RISK table for killing my aunt when we had missions, and it wasn't my mission.

Best Risk memory:  1 against 32.  Ultimate win for battle with only one dice for defense!
