I didn't. You brought up starcraft in your first post. You talked about a computer game in board game discussion. You've not let it go ever since.

This is where you have jumped to poor conclusions based on the wrong assumptions, where I would have been very happy to help you with your confusion if you had just helped me the littlest bit with my confusion.

Behold: Starcraft: The Board Game.

So now: are you leaving because message board administrators destroy your threads with off-topic fanboy rants?  Or are you leaving because there was a misunderstanding from which everybody could have walked away happy if you had just answered my honest, innocent question?

Can you at least pay the courtesy before you go, of acknowledging your misunderstanding, since you took the trouble to accuse people of things they did not do?

Maybe he will when you admit it's a logical and valid assumption to assume that "Starcraft" refers to the multi-million best-selling computer game rather than an obscure board game based on the same. This thread's not even about board games specifically.
I am not talking about T2 unless I am explicitly talking about T2. Also Mayhem is fine now somehow!

Maybe he will when you admit it's a logical and valid assumption to assume that "Starcraft" refers to the multi-million best-selling computer game rather than an obscure board game based on the same. This thread's not even about board games specifically.

Nobody here talked about any game that was not a board game.  It may or may not have been a valid assumption that I meant the computer game, but that would make zero sense in the context of the discussion.  It also would not explain why I asked three times - THREE TIMES - why he kept talking about computers and electricity.  What is the reason I would ask that question if I was knowingly referring to a computer game?  And why would I refer back to the general topic of board games, even going so far as to highlight it?

You COULD assume it was the computer game but that would remove all of the sense from my statements, remove all of the purpose for my questions, and oh by the way, I asked those questions because I was confused; if someone had simply answered those questions, which wouldn't have been a big deal to anybody, then I could have understood their confusion and helped to reach better understanding.

Wasn't this thread locked?

The last time I replied to a thread without realizing it was locked, I was accused of cheating the thread to get the last word while leaving it locked.  In the wake of that false accusation of my motives, the logical course would be to leave the thread open so as to allow a chance for anybody who wished to respond after the fact, thereby removing that possibility.  Or was there another question behind this one?

FYI. Simply stating, Starcraft rather than Starcraft the Board game, which is far more obscure, does not keep things clear. Thats like asking my opinion on George Bush and the Iraq War and leaving me to choose which one I think you meant.

Its not a misunderstanding thats the issue. Its your every reply after it. You are still just clinging for justification here and have wanted to argue about this ever since.

I'm gonna tell you what. This is a pointless discussion that offers no redeeming value or anything remotely Christ-like. If you need your acknowledgement so you can sleep tonight, here it is. I acknowledge I misunderstood you. Congratulations. You won the internet.

What is it you think I'm trying to justify?  Trying to figure out why one simple statement about board games that I like turned into such a big deal for you?  Asking you to clarify something that I did not understand?  What have I done that you still claim I have done wrong by you?

:edit: and I see this is locked again when I only ask simple questions with no malice intended.  But somehow that turns a board game thread into a cancer on the Internet that is not remotely Christ-like, without even telling me why these questions are thought to be wrong-headed.  I can't stop you from thinking whatever you intend to think but I've made every effort to resolve the issues I'm accused of causing.
