Nats RISK tourny.

At Nats this year would anyone wanna do a risk tourny in the off hours?(I won't be there just makeing an idea thread)

But don't take my word,I've never been to Nats,although I'm trying to go this year.

They already have a Settlers of Canaan tournament.

I think a Dominion tournament would be more compelling.  Takes less time to play than RISK.

Dominion presents its own interesting challenges though - Do you play a standard set? Or does each table choose the 10 each game? Or does each table choose a card and use that as a universal set throughout. Do you play expansions or not? Etc.

That being said I love dominion So I'd totally be down for that.

Race for the Galaxy is another fun game that you could do.

I love Race, but you'd better get some brain-burners at that table, it's not a game for the feint of heart, especially with all the expansions included.

Yep, agreed - I really hope Prestige grows on me, so far in the dozen games or so I've played I've really hated it. It serves only to make the rich richer.
