Malta! at Nationals 2010

Hey all, I'll be going to Nationals (Friday and Saturday), and I'll be bringing my advance copy of Z-Man Games' Malta! with me. The game will be available to purchase next month, but you can get a sneak peak. Here's what the game components look like:

Well, I'm not a game retailer, but I believe Chris Bany is. He's in a better position to bring multiple copies if he decides to stock it. But hey, that's a year away still.

Covenant Games now has Malta in stock.  It is available to order at http://www.covenantgames.com/othercardgames.htm.  Tim taught me the game at Nats, it's a great party card game for 2-6 players.

I'm excited that Covenant Games has Malta! now. Now no one has an excuse. Buy four copies and I suppose you even get a Book of the Covenant! (Right, Chris?)

Tim, you may have missed the first autograph spree*, but if you get in on the contest here you can get a signed Malta! card for free. Do it do it do it.

* After my "how did that happen?" Nationals win, someone (I think Ben Arp) grabbed the post-it I wrote my name on to hold my deck space and tried to hock it in the Marketplace. I countered by trying to setup a fake counterfeit Tim Mierzejewski signature Post-It ring, but that didn't catch on.

After 15 minutes of annoyance I decided rage quit beings I didn't get a turn. (And I had to play a tournament game....)

We had a guy win in one turn (with only 3 people). It's a really fun game.
