It's great.  Unlimited site access, as long as you can take care of Pergamum, which is a piece of cake with the new Disciples.

Ditto here.  I'm a big fan of tabletop RPG's, but I'm a bit wary to invest in one without hearing about it.

I guess I should at least change the subject. Yes, I mean the PNPRPG (Pencil and Paper Role-Playing Game) [http://dragonraid.net]

I bought a sealed set on Ebay new for $13 and should be here soon. I have all the PDF files of the books, but haven't actually played it before. I've played the Star Wars RPG (both the original and the new) and dabbled a bit with the d20 system (made famous by Dungeons and Dragons), but really wanted a Christian alternative. I was really hoping to find some people who have played it and was hoping to find someone who would be interested around the Springfield, MO area.

Also, if anyone is interested in checking out the game's mechanics, all the books can be viewed on PDF. You can find these freely available here: http://bartelsmr.bravepages.com/htm/draid.htm (found it on google)

I've looked into it and learned much about it and even obtained digital copies of the books to play and such. It plays too similar to D&D.

I would have been better if they somehow designed it as an RPG living the life of Biblical heros within their stories played out like a game. Such as, playing David running away from Saul and all the warfare against the Philistines. That would of been an awesome adventure to play out. Or Jeremiah during the Babylonian takeover of Israel in the book of Jeremiah, it would have been interesting to see how those could of played out if it was designed that way.

But other than that it's basically a Christianized D&D.

When I think about it, what also could of been a good alternative is if they designed it like a modern day battle with Christians combating against their fleshly nature and wiles of the Devil through demonic oppression, carnal obsession, and demonic possession. Like an adventure of modern Christians living their life in a modern setting where they can play through Book of Acts miracles and other signs & wonders depicted throughout the New Testament.

AAAHHHH!  I hate that about our games.  Thank God for Redemption.

I don't even like the d20 system anyway.  (d100 for lyfe!)

Really? I love the d20 system and haven't really enjoyed any other system. Maybe it's cause i'm partial to d20 dice. XD

I've played Dark Heresy (d100), Paranoia (d20), and Shadowrun (Six pounds of six sliders).

Oh, I know, I know. I also love that game because there is no limit to imagination. For one campaign, we were allowed ANY one item. So I asked for a NUKE, I got points for that, then I had it in a box, with wheels, and a rope to pull it, and on the side of the box, I had a GIANT sticker that said "NOT A NUKE". I had the GM rofling before the game had started. Then, somehow, my box of not a nuke was driving a train, without me, because I died and didn't get to respawn yet. Thing was, after the campaign, we found out, since NO ONE in the game knew what a nuke looked like, I had been dragging around a giant pear.

That's why I love any TRPG.  And that's also why all my GM's hate me.

Hmm... You've railroaded us down to the ground.  We've got our equipment, and a broken helicopter.  We're also being pursued by helicopters.  Naturally, GM wants us to run.  I suggest to our Troll that he rip apart the helicopter, and fling chunks at our enemies.

No more enemies!

Wow, you guys seem to have a lot of fun with RPGs. Unfortunately everyone I've ever played with had no imagination.
