So the makers of dominion are finally making an online game.
http://play.goko.com/Dominion/gameClient.html
Free to play, you can buy all the expansions for about $45. If your host player has any expansion it can be used for the game. Great to learn the game and the single player is a ton of fun.
Only drawbacks are if your internet hiccups it doesn't tell you that you d/c'd. Also no friends list yet.
It is open beta though

open beta? Are you sure because I've had that account for a while? I even got a card in Dark Ages that gave me 3 free cards on that site.
My experience is that the computer is pretty tough. I've played one other friend on it from time to time. Neither of us invested money, so we only have the base set and my 3 free random cards. I found it to be okay.

I've been playing it a lot recently but it's been really glitchy for me. I've yet to actually be able to complete an online game with friends, it always freezes.

Yep, it just beat me twice :)

I tried the tutorial online since I just got my base game. I figured it would help me to learn the game faster and it was indeed helpful. The game is much different than I had expected. The game is easy to learn, but the strategy involved can become complex, and seems to change every game depending on what Action Cards are available. I definitely misunderstood the phrase "Deck-Building Game" in the description. ;)

Same here. I played online, convinced a friend to go halfsies on it and its amazing fun. We've only done 2 player. I want to do 3/4 and have some real chaos.

You know, Josh, you can come over my house for more than just Redemption. ;) I now have Settlers, Shadows, Ticket to Ride, Dominion, MLP CCG, Rail Baron, Pokémon, and a plethora of older games.
